The Supreme Court has said that the petition filed regarding the appointment of lawyer LC Victoria Gowri as a judge of the Madras High Court will be taken up for hearing tomorrow.
In this regard, senior advocate Rajeev Ramachandran, Supreme Court Chief Justice T.Y. Appeared before the bench headed by Chandrachud and appealed. Accepting the appeal, the Supreme Court said that the related petition will be taken up for hearing on Friday. The central government approved his appointment. This was followed by an appeal to the Supreme Court. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court allowed the appeal and said that the petition will be listed for hearing tomorrow.
