After many months in which it seemed as if Doron Leidner and Hapoel Tel Aviv were nearing the end of their contract, today (Sunday), Leidner’s agent received a message from the club that if no concrete offer arrives for the defender, he will not be sold.
Due to the meager supply of left-backs on the market, the Reds are having a hard time finding a replacement for Leidner, should he be sold and therefore unless a good enough offer arrives, Leidner will remain red in the 2022/23 season as well.
However, the verb is not left without options. If Leidenrach is sold, the preferred candidate is Maxim Grechkin, who depends on the situation of Betar Jerusalem. Other names mentioned in the Reds segment are Aviv Solomon and Yahav Gurfinkel.
