jpnn.comJAKARTA – Chipset manufacturer from China, MediaTek, launched the new Helio G91 chipset, for 4G smartphones.
The Mediatek G91 has the same CPU and GPU configuration as its predecessors the G88 and G85.
The CPU uses Arm Cortex A-75 and Arm Cortex-A55, and the GPU uses Mali-G52 MC2.
Even though it has the same CPU and GPU as its predecessor, the Helio G91 offers sensor support up to 108 MP.
This means it allows smartphone developers to create competitively priced but feature-rich products.
Information published by the MediaTek blog also states that the G91 is equipped with hardware accelerators, such as devices supporting bokeh shooting with dual cameras, a camera control unit, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), and Rolling Shutter Compensation (RSC).
In terms of screen performance, the Helio G91 supports the ability to scroll the screen smoothly with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
