In the pipes for several days, the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Olympique de Marseille is now a reality. The Gabonese international striker (74 caps, 30 goals) is officially an OM player, the club with which he has signed up for the next three seasons, as the Marseille club announced on its website this Friday.
“Go OM… See you in Marseille,” thundered the 34-year-old player in a short video released by OM on his Twitter account. Passed by Lille, Monaco, Saint-Étienne, Dortmund and Arsenal in particular, Aubameyang signed a contract which therefore binds him to OM until 2026.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was released by Chelsea, with whom he was linked until 2024. The one who passed his medical examination during the internship in Germany is already at work in Marcelino’s squad. He remains on a mixed season in the English club where he played very little with a starving record of 3 goals in only 22 games.
