The famous former football player Michael Strahan and his daughter, Isabella Strahan, have received an outpouring of support from friends and fans after Isabella revealed her recent diagnosis of brain cancer. The 19-year-old University of Southern California freshman opened up about her condition for the first time during an interview on “Good Morning America” alongside her father.
Following the broadcast, Michael Strahan expressed his gratitude on Instagram, thanking everyone for their love and support. Many of the morning show host’s famous pals also sent messages of support in the comments section after Isabella’s news became public.
Isabella’s diagnosis came in October 2023 with a malignant brain tumor known as medulloblastoma. She described experiencing headaches, nausea, and difficulty walking before being rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she learned of the tumor. Shortly after, she underwent brain surgery and is set to begin chemotherapy treatments at her twin sister Sophia’s college, Duke University.
In her first video on her newly created YouTube vlog channel, Isabella detailed her journey, describing the challenges and the hopes for her health to improve. She mentioned feeling good and excited for the process to wrap up, but acknowledged that it has been a rough and challenging experience.
The news of Isabella’s diagnosis has prompted an outpouring of love and support from friends and well-wishers, including celebrities such as Terry Crews, Katie Couric, Lindsay Vonn, Erin Andrews, and others, who have sent messages of strength and prayers to the Strahan family.
