Users of the trial version of Windows 11 are invited from today to be impressed by two new programs, which will become an integral part of the Microsoft operating system from the next big update.
One of the two is Clipchamp, a relatively advanced video editor that Microsoft actually acquired ready-made. It includes all the tools you can expect such as editing and splitting videos, as well as the ability to create animated transitions and text animations. The promise is for a powerful tool, but so fast and simple that most users will be able to understand it without difficulty.
The last time Microsoft added this video editor was Movie Maker that came with Windows XP in 2002. Over the years, however, the company has not updated the tool and in fact since then has not provided a proper solution as Apple does in the MacOS system.
In addition to another feature that will join Windows 11, Microsoft has also included the option of automatic narration in more than 70 languages, as well as automatic synchronization and saving of videos on the OneDrive drive. This version also comes with a gallery of no less than a million short videos, music tracks and photos that can be integrated into free video files.
Another software is Microsoft Family, which actually serves as a kind of control panel for monitoring the digital activities of younger family members: setting allowed hours for play and surfing the Internet, which sites they will not be allowed to access, and which games and software they use. You can also track the current location of family members who use Android devices and install the compatible app on their device.
Another update coming in this version is a modern design for the Print Queue tool, which until now remained in a look that does not match that of Windows 11. The search tool built into the operating system will also now display various events saved in the calendar when searching.
