Paris Saint-Germain announced on Friday the signing of the first professional contract for midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery (16), crowned European champion with the France under-17 team in early June.

Zaire-Emery, who arrived at the PSG pre-training center in 2014 after starting out in Aubervilliers, in Seine-Saint-Denis, signed up until 2025 with the Parisian club.

The native of Montreuil was a starter in the final of the Euro under 17 won by young French people against the Netherlands (2-1) in Netanya (Israel). He had scored two goals in the competition as a whole. Last season, Zaire-Emery had also made a place for himself in the workforce of the Parisian U19s, notably playing 19 league matches, said PSG in a press release.
