Mike Tyson’s Comeback: A Clash with Jake Paul Set for November After Health Scare

Tyson is known⁣ as one of the hardest-hitting and most intimidating boxers in history. Soon, he will make a ⁢comeback when ‍he faces Jake Paul in the boxing ring.

Paul⁢ is⁣ known from Disney Channel and YouTube, but in recent years he ‌has also made‍ a name ⁢for himself as a boxer.

It was heavily publicized ‌when it‌ was announced earlier this year that Tyson and Paul⁣ would meet.⁣ They were originally‌ scheduled to fight in July, but the‍ match had to be canceled.

– Started⁤ throwing up ⁣blood

This ‌was due to Tyson suddenly⁣ becoming ill with a stomach ⁣ulcer. In⁢ a new Netflix documentary, the 58-year-old recounts the drama that led to the exhibition match‌ being moved to November 15th.

– ⁣I was on a plane‍ when I suddenly got sick. I went to the bathroom, and ‌there I started throwing up blood. My friends started calling me as if I was ⁢dying, Tyson says in the documentary.

When he didn’t receive a ‌reassuring message from the doctor, Tyson feared he was actually ⁤going ⁣to die.

– So I asked ⁣the doctor if⁣ I ‍was going to die, and they wouldn’t answer.‍ At that moment, I just thought damn.⁤ I sure as⁣ hell don’t want to die in‌ a hospital bed, he ⁣says.

– Completely stunned

The 58-year-old is said to be in better‍ shape now, and he will ‌face Paul in a fight on November 15th ⁣in Texas ⁤before a‍ crowd of 80,000 people.

– I was completely ⁣stunned when I got the news that the fight was postponed.‌ I can’t decide what Tyson should do, but I see⁣ him as a ‍“killer.”⁣ So ⁤it was really unexpected for me, says ⁣the 27-year-old.

Paul⁢ has fought ⁣eleven matches during his short combat sports ⁢career, ten‌ of which have ended ⁤in victory.

Tyson ⁢has a bit more to show for it ‌with his 50 wins from 58 ‌fights. He held all the heavyweight titles between 1987 and 1990.
