Start of the match with a little surprise from De Rossi, El Shaarawy goes player to the right to support Celik against Hernandez and Leao. Very good half-time from Roma who created numerous chances and opened the scoring thanks to a header from Mancini – like in the derby -. El Shaarawy did a very good half but spent a lot of energy and it will be interesting to see the proposal in the 2nd half and the management of De Rossi. De Rossi wins at San Siro against one of the best Italian teams of the moment just 3 months after taking control of Roma! Very good match for the Giallorossi who take a slight advantage before the quarter-final return to the Olimpico next Thursday. Roma – and we can trust De Rossi on this – will have to start the second leg as if it were 0 – 0 and not try to maintain their goal lead. Milan has the ability to score and Roma will have to perform the same as tonight if they want to qualify for the semi-finals. For the moment, let’s enjoy this victory after that of the derby and think about Sunday’s match on the Udinese pitch.
