Munich becomes a place of pilgrimage for Adele fans in the summer. At least that’s what the number of people who registered for the advance sale suggests.

Pop star Adele invites you to the concert – and the fans don’t take long to ask. According to the Live Nation agency, more than 2.2 million people had registered by Monday evening to have a chance at one of the coveted tickets. After eight concerts in Munich in early and mid-August, the Brit has now announced two more dates on August 30th and 31st, due to unique demand, as Live Nation announced.
Ten open-air concerts Adele will therefore be performing on the grounds of the Munich Trade Fair, in an arena that is being built especially for her. Advance sales for registered fans begin on Wednesday at 10 a.m., general advance sales start on Friday. However, many Adele supporters are likely to come away empty-handed, as the arena can only fit 80,000 people per performance.
According to Live Nation, it will be the first time Adele has performed in mainland Europe since 2016. “I couldn’t imagine a better way to spend my summer (…),” the singer recently wrote on her Instagram account. (dpa)
