Ministry denies campaign to revoke expatriate driver’s license

KUWAIT CITY: The Interior Ministry has rejected a campaign on social media seeking the revocation of expats’ driving licenses for expatriates in Kuwait. The authorities said that the country’s license data system is undergoing only regular updates.

Steps are being taken to renew the old licenses. However, the Kuwaiti official news agency quoted the Interior Ministry as saying that the illegally acquired licenses would be revoked and legal action would be taken against those who use them.
