The Indian professional wrestler The Great Khali came to test the strength of the new superhero in the Test. The new promo video of the movie is about Minnal Murali going through the experiments of Khali. In the video, child actor Vashisht Umesh joins Tovino.

Apart from Malayalam, the film was initially slated to be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu. It will be released in Tamil as Minnal Murali. The film is titled ‘Mr Murali’ in Hindi, ‘Merup Murali’ in Telugu and ‘Minchu Murali’ in Kannada.
