Cairone, a 6-foot-2 left-handed pitcher, possesses a fastball clocked at 95 mph and was ranked 26th among Brewers prospects. He was selected by Milwaukee in the second round of the July MLB Draft.

Prior to the draft, Cairone drew meaningful attention from MLB scouts, including during his 2025 season opener for Delsea High School in April.According to the Courier Post, teams even met with his family.
