A masterful knockout. Magomed Ankalaev prematurely ended his clash with Johnny Walker on the night of Saturday to Sunday by sending the Brazilian to the mat with a powerful right in the second round. Opposed as part of UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas, the two men faced each other again a little more than two months after a chaotic end to the fight in Abu Dhabi. Their reunion was quickly settled by the Russian’s series of hooks, not afraid to be proud of himself after the meeting.
“When I enter the cage, I am a hunter and each of my opponents is hunted. My opponents try to analyze me but they cannot,” he reacted in comments reported by RMC Sport.

During their first clash in the United Arab Emirates on October 21, Ankalaev and Walker were close to fighting after the fight was officially stopped by the referee, who considered that the latter was no longer able to fight after an unauthorized blow from the Russian.
Undefeated for twelve fights, Ankalaev now has a record of 18 victories for only one defeat in his career. Third in the world light heavyweight rankings (92.986 kg), the 31-year-old fighter now hopes to challenge champion Alex Pereira, king of the discipline, for the belt.
