‘Modi Govt Sleeping While China Prepares For War’; Rahul Gandhi said that BJP will be brought down, forget about it
Jaipur: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the Modi government is pretending not to see China preparing for war with India. Rahul also asked if the central government does not see what China is doing in Arunachal and Ladakh.
Rahul’s remarks came in the context of a clash between India and China in the Yangtze region of Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang sector.
Rahul Gandhi made the allegation against the Center in a press conference held in Rajasthan after the completion of 100 days of Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Don’t underestimate Congress. Congress will topple BJP from power. Rahul Gandhi said that he should consider his words.
‘China is preparing for war. It cannot be seen as a mere intrusion. Look at the order of their weapons. This is a sign of war preparation. But our government has not accepted it. The central government works on the basis of incidents.
China will take our land. Our soldiers will be defeated. Their threat is clear. But the government ignores it. They are preparing for armed attacks in Ladakh and Arunachal. Our government is sleeping,’ accused Rahul.
Rahul said that some people said that Bharat Jodo Yatra will not succeed in Hindi regions, but the people rejected it. In Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and now Rajasthan, the Yatra was welcomed by huge crowds. In Kerala and Karnataka, Bharat Jodo Yatra did well in popular support. In Madhya Pradesh, which is not under Congress rule, people have given huge support to the Yatra,’ added Rahul.
At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah responded to the issue of India-China confrontation saying that as long as the Narendra Modi government is in power at the Centre, no one can grab even an inch of land.
Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that no Indian soldiers were seriously injured in the military conflict in Tawang. He had said that Indian soldiers chased away the Chinese soldiers and did not give up even an inch of land. He said this in Rajya Sabha.
