Modi orders rescue of Indians by Air Force planes

by time news

Currently, only private airlines, including Air India, are involved in ‘Operation Ganga’ to rescue students stranded in Ukraine. In this situation, the Indian Air Force is to engage in rescue operations following the request of Prime Minister Modi. Air Force C-17s are to be sent to Ukraine’s neighbors. The C-17 aircraft can rescue more than 350 people at a time. Last year, the C-17 was instrumental in rescuing Indians stranded in Afghanistan when the Taliban seized power.

The rescue of Indian students from Ukraine is expected to accelerate as the Air Force strikes. In this context, some videos have been released of Indian students leaving Ukraine being beaten by the country’s military and prevented from leaving. Opposition parties have stated they will not run in the by-elections. Responding, US government officials said, “India is working tirelessly 24 hours a day to rescue its citizens, especially students, more than any other country.”

Countries like China have postponed rescue operations. They have not issued any guidelines including travel instruction. The Chinese people are also under attack in Ukraine. At the same time, buses with the Indian national flag are flying safely in Ukraine. Holders of the Indian national flag will not be subjected to any harassment.

United States government permission for pets
Amid the war tensions in Ukraine, some Indian students are reluctant to leave their pets. Rescue crews say they can’t come without the calling pets. This is because pets are not allowed to be flown to India. In this case, the information about some students who did not leave the pets went viral on social media. Following this, Beta, an animal welfare organization, urged the United States government to allow pets as well. Due to this, students from Ukraine are said to be allowed to return to the country with their pets.
