ARecently, Srinivasan came to the stage with a strong criticism against Mohanlal. Allegations about Prem’s betrayal of Nazir and Mohanlal’s status as a colonel led to huge discussions. Now director Priyadarshan has come to the scene with a response. Priyadarshan says he doesn’t know what Srini is saying like this. He added that Mohanlal never responded about this.
Priyadarshan said that both of them are his dear friends and it is not right to comment without knowing the real reason behind the problem. His response was in an interview given to trade analyst Sridhar Pillai as part of the promotion of the new film Corona Papers.
There is a dialogue in my new film Corona Papers. To forget is human and to forgive is divine. I think humans should do it. I don’t know what is causing this. His illness may be telling something. I don’t know. Sathyan Anthikkad is also confused about this. We have talked about this. We don’t know what Srini is saying. It seems very strange.- said Priyadarshan.
Priyadarshan says that Mohanlal has never responded to this and that is the good part about it. He must have been thinking about what to say. Srinivasan must have felt that way. That’s why he must have thought that he said that. Mohanlal knows Srinivasan.- Priyadarshan added.
Srinivasan’s controversial statement was in the Express Dialogue of The New Indian Express. Srinivasan says that when Mohanlal kissed him during the award ceremony, he understood why he is called a complete actor. Srinivasan also said that Mohanlal had bought the title of colonel and had spoken insultingly to Prem Nazir. He also said that there are many problems with Mohanlal.
