Jenny Appleford, a California mom-of-two, recently shared a heartbreaking video on her YouTube channel documenting her battle with lung cancer. In the clip, Appleford’s husband, Kyle, and their two children, Ellis and Winnie, are seen shaving her head as part of her radiation treatment.
Appleford, who set up the YouTube channel following her initial diagnosis in 2021, explained in the video that losing her hair due to treatment has been a difficult and uncomfortable experience. However, she also expressed gratitude to her children for helping her feel “really special and beautiful” during the process.
The latest upload on her channel shows Appleford announcing that she is finally balding after years of battling cancer. She revealed that she had completed radiation treatment for her brain and spine, which had left her feeling exhausted. Appleford then removed her head scarf to reveal her mostly bald head, explaining that she had been “leaving trails everywhere.”
