The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says more than one million children have been displaced from Ukraine by Russian forces.
UNICEF says people fleeing Ukraine with children due to the war have taken refuge in neighboring countries, including Poland, Hungary and Romania.
UNICEF has been providing assistance to people affected by the war in Ukraine. So far 6 trucks have arrived in Ukraine with about 70 tons of personal protective equipment, surgery and maternity equipment sent by UNICEF.
They are being distributed to 22 hospitals in 5 different areas affected by the war, according to UNICEF.
