The SRC of the RA regularly carries out control activities over the goods under customs control imported by various companies.
According to the data obtained by the Internal Security Department of the Committee, the Navy and the Yerevan Customs Service Center-Customs, the employees of the department carried out joint control measures in the territory of the company engaged in the import of pesticides in Armenia, the goods under customs control handed over for protection were inspected.
It was found that out of 6,730 boxes of fertilizer with a total weight of about 83,546 kg imported by the company to RA, only 3,417 boxes were actually available in the area, and the remaining 3,313 boxes of fertilizer with a total weight of 33,130 kg were sold without the permission of the customs authorities.
Taking into account the mentioned circumstance, an administrative proceeding was initiated in accordance with Articles 308 and 316 of the RA Law on Customs Regulation and a fine of more than 38 million AMD was imposed on the company.
