New Year’s holidays are a good reason to visit relatives, visit friends or go on vacation. To go on a trip at any time and tickets were available for the New Year and Christmas holidays, more than 500 additional trains will go across Russia.

Sochi is popular on New Year’s Eve. Additional trains will also be launched in this direction from Moscow.
Transport links by rail will also be strengthened between the capital and Belgorod, Penza, Saransk, Cheboksary, Tolyatti, Smolensk, Izhevsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Kirov, Kotlas, Astrakhan, Samara, Orsk and other cities.
Additional trains will also run between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Petersburg is itself one of the most attractive cities for tourists. But there are also many attractive tourist centers around the Northern capital. Additional trains will go to them from St. Petersburg. These are routes to Sortavala and the Ruskeala mountain park, to Murmansk, to Arkhangelsk. Trips to northern cities on New Year’s Eve are also popular with tourists. Russian Railways will launch special tourist trains. Among the most popular routes for the New Year is the patrimony of Father Frost – Veliky Ustyug. “Moroz-Express” will run here from Moscow.

More opportunities for the New Year holidays will also appear for traveling by rail between the regions. First of all, additional trains will be allowed to travel to resorts. For example, trains will run between Rostov-on-Don and Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan and Kislovodsk.
Separate tourist trains will be launched on the southern routes. For example, for alpine skiing enthusiasts, a “Ski Arrow” is assigned from Rostov-on-Don to the Sochi mountain cluster to the Rosa Khutor station.
