Russia has taken control of the Russian subsidiary from the french yoghurt maker Danoneas well as the participation of the company Carlsberg at a local brewery, according to a decree signed by the president Vladimir Putin this Sunday.
The decree states that foreign-owned shares in Danone Russia y Baltika Breweries were under the “temporary administration“government owned agency Rosimushchestvo.
The move comes after the Russian subsidiaries of Germany’s Uniper and Finland’s Fortum came under state control in April.
