A man, not yet identified, was transported to Santa Casa in serious condition after colliding with a Gol. The accident happened around 12:30 pm this Friday (29), on Avenida Tiradentes, in the Vila Anahy neighborhood.
Through images from security cameras from a business in the region, it is possible to see that the motorcyclist was crossing the avenue along Rua Eldorado. At the time of the collision, the man did not respect the Gol road that followed Avenida Tiradentes.
After being hit by the car, the man spins in the air, falling shortly after, hitting his spine and neck on the ground. Residents of the region reported that the collision of the vehicles caused a very loud noise, which caused them to go to the front of their homes.
For the report, BPMTran (Traffic Police Battalion) said that the man was rescued by a Samu vehicle, and was later taken to Santa Casa. The military would still go to the hospital to find out the victim’s health status.
Without any irregularities, the Gol driver was released along with his vehicle. The motorcycle the man was on had its rear view mirrors and part of its tank damaged. The motorcycle was towed.
