On the eve of a long weekend, motorists were on the roads on Friday April 15. “Indeed, many of them left this evening to take advantage of this long weekend”, says journalist Lucie Berbey, live from the Buchelay toll (Yvelines). Traffic is heavy on the A13 motorway, which leads to the Normandy coast, “a popular destination for tourists for the Easter weekend, which promises to be sunny this year”adds the journalist.
Slowdowns were observed in the direction of departures, from Friday 15 April in the afternoon. “To reach Mantes-la-Jolie, where we are currently, count, from Paris, twice as long: about two hours instead of one”, continues Lucie Berbey. Traffic will remain disrupted. For the day of Saturday April 16, the forecasts of Bison futé are red for the northwest quarter and orange for the rest of France.
