Motorola is developing a new Android phone that will be launched in the budget G series, called the Moto G42, which will be launched on the market as a competitor to modern Samsung and Huawei phones. According to the “91mobiles” website, Motorola is preparing to launch the Moto G42 phone, which has model number XT2233-2, to the Indian markets soon, and it comes with a set of powerful specifications, including a triple camera setup, and a large AMOLED screen.
Moto G42 design
According to the leaks, the upcoming Motorola Moto G42 phone features a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen, with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, and supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz, with a brightness rate of 411 nits. The Moto G42 will come with a body made of plastic, aluminum and anti-shock and scratch-resistant glass, with dimensions of 161.9 x 73.9 x 8.3 mm, and a weight of 178 grams.
The Motorola Moto G42 phone will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor and a Mali-G52 MC2 graphics processor, and it will come with 6 and 8 GB RAM, and 128 GB internal storage, expandable via microSD external memory cards.
The Motorola Moto G42 will feature a triple rear camera, the main one with 48 megapixels, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 13-megapixel front camera.
Other features of the Motorola Moto G42 phone include a hole punch in the middle of the screen for taking selfies and a noticeable bottom edge. The volume button and power button with a fingerprint sensor are located on the right side frame of the phone, and there is a dual SIM card tray in the left side frame of the device. There is also a USB Type-C port, the primary microphone and speaker grille in the lower bezel, and the rear panel of the device houses a rectangular unit dedicated to the triple camera lenses and LED flash. The Motorola Moto G42 phone will pack a 5,000 mAh battery that works with fast charging, and the phone is likely to be sold for a price starting at $ 180 (equivalent to 3,200 Egyptian pounds).
