Title: MP K Muraleedharan criticizes Congress leadership over assault on Youth Congress workers

In a scathing remark, MP K Muraleedharan has criticized the Congress leadership for their response to the incident of beating up Youth Congress workers who showed black flags in relation to the New Kerala assembly.

Muraleedharan expressed his disappointment, stating that the sharpness of the statements made by the state leaders on the issue is not reflected in their actions. He also mentioned that the matter will be discussed in the KPCC Political Affairs Committee, indicating the seriousness of the issue within the party.

Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of the Youth Congress workers carrying out life-saving work, asserting that they would have the full support of the party.

Addressing the ongoing conflict between the state government and the governor, Muraleedharan debunked the allegations that there are Congressmen among the names nominated by the Governor. He clarified that Congress has not nominated anyone to the Senate and suggested that the names given by the Save University Forum may include Congressmen. He called on the governor to reveal who gave the names of the nominees.

Muraleedharan also called for the elimination of poeticization and Marxistization in the universities of the state and suggested bringing in common criteria for nomination. He pointed out that Congress was the first to oppose the governor’s actions, and the CPM came to this position later.

The MP’s critique of the Congress leadership and his stance on the conflict between the state government and the governor sheds light on the complex political dynamics in Kerala.
