Bhopal: In the third phase of Lok Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh, voting is going on for 9 out of 29 Lok Sabha seats from 7 am on Tuesday. Voting will continue till 6 pm. A total of 20 thousand 456 centers have been set up for voting. In these centres, 1 thousand 043 are being managed by women employees.
Let us tell you that a total of 127 candidates, including 9 women, are in the fray for the third phase in MP. Bhopal has the maximum number of 22 candidates, while Bhind has the least number of 7 candidates. Prominent candidates include Union minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and former state chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and veteran Congress leader Digvijay Singh.

Fate of 127 candidates will be decided
Overall, 1.77 crore voters will decide the fate of 127 candidates contesting on 9 Lok Sabha seats of MP. These seats include Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Guna, Sagar, Vidisha, Bhopal, Rajgarh and Betul seats. Voting in Betul constituency was earlier scheduled to be held on April 26, but it was postponed due to the demise of a candidate. Which is happening now on 7th May.

There will be route diversion here. After the completion of voting on Tuesday, the polling parties will return and deposit the ballot boxes in the old jail premises. In such a situation, the traffic police has planned route diversion for public transport as well as general vehicles from 4 pm onwards. Normal traffic will be restricted on the route from Control Room towards District Court via Old Jail and the route from Jahangirabad towards Jail Headquarters via Shabban Square. This route will be used only for the movement of vehicles engaged in election work. All the vehicles carrying polling parties will reach the old jail via MP Nagar police station intersection and court intersection.
