Actor Avala Babu has complained that he and his star organization Amma are being insulted in a remark related to the film Mukundan Unni Associates. Babu said that only a part of his speech was used to insult him and videos containing obscenities are being circulated through media such as Instagram and YouTube. Awala Babu lodged a complaint with the Kochi Cyber Cell asking for an investigation into the incident.
Mukundan Unni Associates was a film that came late last year with a difference in theme and presentation. The black comedy film was directed by debutant Abhinav Sundar Nayak.
Actor Evala Babu had come to the scene with severe criticism against the film. He had said that the entire film was negative and did not know how it got the censorship certificate.
In the words of Evala Babu: A movie called Mukundan Unni came out here. I don’t know how it got censored. Because it is full negative. The film itself begins with the words ‘No thanks to us either’.
