Mumbai: Mumbai take a 119-run first innings lead against Vidarbha in Ranji Trophy final. Vidarbha were all out for 105 against Mumbai’s first innings score of 224. He took three wickets each. Dhawal Kulkarni, Shams Mulani and Tanush Kodian destroyed Vidarbha. Yash Rathod was the top scorer for Vidarbha who scored 27 runs. Earlier, it was Shardul Thakur’s innings (75) that led Mumbai to a decent score. Harsh Dubey and Yash Thakur took three wickets each.
Vidarbha started batting on the second day at 31 for three. Dhruv Shorey (0), Aman Mokhade (8) and Karun Nair (0) were back. Atharva Tiede (23) lost his wicket first today. Aditya Thackeray (19) returned later. Both were at the crease when they stopped playing on the first day. Captain Akshay Wadkar (5) also couldn’t hold back. Yash Thakur (16) and Rathore helped push the score past 100.

Musheer Khan (6), Ajinkya Rahane (7), Shreyas Iyer (7), Hardik Thamore (5) and Shams Mulani (13) who came next could not even fight.
Later, Shardul’s fight by joining the tail took the score to 200. Tushan Deshpande (14) provided crucial support to Shardul. Shardul’s innings included three sixes and eight fours. Tanush Kodyan (8) is another player who has been out. Dhawan Kulkarni (0) not out. Harsh Dubey and Yash Thakur took three wickets for Vidarbha. Umesh Yadav has two wickets.
