Muscat: The Muscat International Book Fair will be held from February 22 with the new spring of reading. Mohammed bin Saeed Al Balushi, chairman of the Muscat International Book Fair Media Committee, said in a press conference that 826 publishers from 32 countries will participate.
South Bathina Governorate will be the chief guest this year at the event which will be held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre. 5,900 new books will also be released in conjunction with the book fair. Social media influencers have been invited this time as part of making the book fair more popular.
5900 modern publications, 204,411 foreign books and 260,614 Arabic books will be displayed in 1194 pavilions. There will be no other events at the Oman International Convention Center until March 4, the date of the fair.
