Hamburg (dpa / lno) – The Hamburg museums organized a joint benefit day for Ukraine on Sunday. The motto was “donation instead of admission – your visit for the Ukraine”. All proceeds go directly to the cooperating aid organizations Hanseatic Help, the aid network for survivors of Nazi persecution in Ukraine and the association MenscHHamburg, as it was called. With the historic date of the benefit day, the Hamburg museums also want to set a sign of solidarity and for global peace: May 8, 2022 marked the 77th anniversary of the liberation from National Socialism and the end of the Second World War.
