He FestivalAcoustic Vell will celebrate its 13th edition next weekend (Friday 17 and Saturday 18 February) at the CenterCívic Barri Vell-Mercadal in Girona. In this first edition of the year, the free and multidisciplinary cultural contest organized by the Magic Room Association with the support of Girona City Council and the special collaboration of the Barcelona Independent Music Minifestival, it will host six proposals for music, poetry, video art or illustration.
The show 1000 seconds of Gabriel Escobar Martin will open this edition on Friday from 6.30 p.m. Then, at 6.45 p.m., the poetic duo formed by Clara Centenera and Alejandro Santaflorentina will take to the stage, with a proposal entitled Animal Poetry. The first day of the festival will close at 7.45 pm Pale Moonthe pop duo with hints of psychedelia formed by the Icelandic Árni Guðjónsson and the Russian, born in Siberia, Natalia Sushchenko. The project established in Barcelona will present the topics of LemonTreehis first studio album.
The display of funny and scary creatures from Pelodeperroin the form of an exhibition, will inaugurate at 6.30 pm a second day that will also feature a performance by the collective 4 Virgins, at 6.45 p.m. This first edition of the year of the Acoustic Vell will close from 7.45 pm with the performance of Cotton Triothe musical project led by the Barcelona artist of South Korean descent Hun Deok Leewhich will take its elegant proposal based on delicate and transparent folk to the heart of Girona’s BarriVell.
