The nationally active aid organization is currently in urgent need of any support, because in times of rising prices and growing poverty, more and more people are turning to the “TAFELN” to receive support in the supply of basic foodstuffs. Last year there was already such a “TAFEL matchday” at the home game against SV Sandhausen with outstanding success, and we would of course like to continue that this year.
Every Hansa fan can help and in very different ways. Before the game starts, our team bus “KOGGE” and other vehicles will be on the north forecourt and can be stored in the luggage compartments, on the seats and in the aisles under the motto “We fill the cog” with non-perishable foods such as pasta, rice, canned goods, Coffee or tea as well as hygiene and drugstore items can be filled. So just bring exactly these things with you, volunteers from “TAFELN” and FC Hansa will be happy to accept your donations and fill the buses to the roof. A year ago the willingness to help was extremely high and this year we are also relying on the great solidarity of the Hansa family. For organizational reasons, these donations benefit the “TAFELN” in Rostock.
There will also be a hat sale around the Ostseestadion, after all it can get a little colder around the ears in autumn. These exclusive “donor hats” are only available on this day and the edition is limited to 5,000 pieces. The profits from the hats, which can be purchased for EUR 15, go to the “TAFELN” in Schwerin, Neubrandenburg, Demmin and Bergen auf Rügen.
