Samantha had said on Koffee with Karan that she and Naga Chaitanya were not on good terms after their breakup.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed that she and her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya are not on good terms after their break-up while participating in the show Koffee with Karan. “If we put the two of us in a room, hide sharp objects? If the question is yes, the answer is currently yes,” said Samantha.
Recently, Naga Chaitanya faced a similar question in an interview with Bollywood Bubble. Asked what his reaction would be if he met Samantha now, Nagachaitanya replied, “I would say hi and hug her.”
Naga Chaitanya also revealed the meaning of his wrist tattoo. Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s wedding date (6-10-17) is tattooed on the actor’s arm, a Morse code tattoo.
“I have seen many fans who imitated and tattooed my name and this tattoo (Morse code). Actually you don’t have to imitate it, it’s my wedding date. I don’t want fans to imitate that,” says Naga Chaitanya. Naga Chaitanya also clarified that there are no plans to remove the tattoo yet.
Samantha also has a similar tattoo on her arms. Not only that, Samantha also has Che tattooed on her ribcage and YMC tattooed below her neck. YMC stands for Ye Maya Chesave. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s relationship started with the film Ye Maya Chesave. Both of them fell in love during the shooting of this film.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya got married in 2017 after dating for years. But in 2021, both separated and filed for divorce.
Naga Chaitanya is currently busy promoting Aamir Khan starrer Lal Singh Chadha. The film will hit the theaters on August 11. Naga Chaitanya is playing the role of Balaraju Bala Bodhi in the film.
