Communist Party of India (CPI) senior leader Nallakannu today praised Jai Beam, a film directed by Gnanavell and starring Surya.
The movie ‘Jay Beam’ directed by Gnanavell and starring Surya has been released on ODT site. The film focuses on the life of the tribal people and has been well received by the fans.
Many celebrities watched the film and praised it highly. Various political parties, starting with Chief Minister MK Stalin, have praised the film and congratulated the crew.

Nallakannu, a senior leader of the Communist Party of India, has watched the Jai Beam film and praised Surya and director Gnanavelu.
Nallakannu, who had seen the film on TV earlier, had expressed his desire to see it on screen. Accordingly the film was arranged to be screened at NFDC.
Actor Surya with good eyesight, Surya’s father Sivakumar, director T.S. Gnanavelu and 2D CEO Rajasekar Karpurasundarapandian also watched the film.
After watching the film, Nallakannu praised director Gnanavelu by giving him a pet scanner on the cheek.
