After receiving the National Award for Nanjiamma, musician Linu Lal came to the scene with criticism. Linu’s question was whether the song sung by Nanjiamma was the best song of last year. Linu Lal had criticized that Nanjiamma could not sing a normal song even if given a month’s time and would not feel this recognition as an insult to those who have devoted their lives to music.
