National Karate Tournament; Silver winning eight Dinamalar

Coimbatore: The 7th Judo Cluster-2022 National Games was held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Delhi, on behalf of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). Seven sports competitions including Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Gymnastics and Fencing were held.

More than 1,000 sportsmen and women participated from different parts of our country. 137 people participated from Tamil Nadu police team. Coimbatore Ratnapura Crime Investigation Unit Ettu Shanmugam won the silver medal in the individual kata category of the karate competition. At the end of the competition, the CRPF team won the overall champion title. Tamil Nadu team won 10 medals. Tamil Nadu DGP Shailendra Babu praised the winning players.
