Embarrassment in the second laps in Kfar Chabad: Former Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu refused to go up tonight (Simchat Torah eve) to the stage of the “second laps” event in Kfar Chabad – until MK Itamar Ben Gabir got off it. Ben Gabir was asked by the organizers to do this – and refused for many minutes. In the documents from the scene, Ben Gabir is seen as MK Amir Ohana and the organizers of the event try to convince him to give up his presence on the stage of honor.
“We welcome our friend, the chairman of the opposition and former Prime Minister of Israel, Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu,” announced the announcer of the event, “We welcome him…” he repeated – but Netanyahu did not go on stage.
In the live broadcast of the event, a man was heard saying from behind the scenes “If Itamar doesn’t come down – he won’t go on stage”.

Later, one of the organizers is seen turning to Ben Gabir and asking him to get off the stage: “Itamar, I’m asking you…” and apparently trying to explain that other than Netanyahu, no other politicians will go on stage, Ben Gabir for his part told the organizer: “But you gave Saar (Gideon)…”
Finally, Ben Gabir was forced to leave the stage and left the event, however, while Netanyahu was on it – part of the audience called out to him “Ben Gabir, Ben Gabir”.

I will tell you only this, to those who love the teachings of the Land of Israel and the people of Israel, to a note that starts with M and ends with L”.
