The writer and journalist Martí Gironell starts today (19.30) a new edition of the cycle Totems of the historical novel at the Casa de Cultura in Girona. The session is entitled Robert Graves: I Claudius, King Jesus, Count Belisarius. The story in first person.
The series will continue every Tuesday in January with lectures on Scott Fitzgerald, the author of The Great Gatsby; the Lebanese writer Amin Maalouf, known for Leon the African, and the Nobel Prize in Literature Tony Morrison, the most international voice of the African-American community.
