The appointment is for this coming Sunday, May 5, at 8:00 am, on the Claudia Lars Periférico highway, for the new “Pedaleada SV”. There are 7 kilometers that the participants will have to travel.
The Minister of Public Works and Transportation, Romeo Rodríguez, reported that it is a family event, in which they can arrive by scooter, bicycle, just walk or run, since as an institution they seek to promote non-motorized mobility.
These types of healthy recreational activities help promote sports, which is why the Government invites Salvadorans to join.
“We will deliver a kit, with official t-shirts, we will raffle off bicycles,” Minister Rodríguez detailed and, at the same time, added that there will be mobile workshops, road assistance in case of any mishap and hydration.
In the next few days, they will inform you of the points where the transportation will leave at no cost to reach this activity.
In the last Pedaleada SV that ended in the new plaza on Monseñor Romero Boulevard, 4,000 people participated, for this one they expect the same, or even more attendance.
