stafford and Gibbs lead the Rams and Lions to Victory
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford continued his stellar season with another dominant performance, completing 19 of 23 passes for 210 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-7 halftime lead against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He entered the week leading the NFL with 27 touchdown passes and only two interceptions, a trend that continued with 18 touchdowns and zero interceptions in his last five games, all resulting in Rams wins.
However, it was Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs who arguably stole the show. Gibbs had a historic day, rushing for 219 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and adding 11 receptions for 45 yards and another score. His 69-yard touchdown run on the first play of overtime sealed a crucial 34-27 victory for the Lions over the New York Giants. This performance marked only the second time in NFL history a player has rushed for 200+ yards and caught at least 10 passes in a single game, joining Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver jaxon Smith-Njigba had a standout performance, setting a new Seahawks receiving record in seattle’s win over Titans.
The Dallas Cowboys benefited from a standout performance by CeeDee Pickens, who made crucial catches throughout their comeback victory against the Philadelphia Eagles. Pickens finished with nine receptions for 146 yards and a touchdown,further solidifying his value and increasing the cost of perhaps re-signing him after this season.
Defensive Dominance and Special Teams Brilliance
New England Patriots tight end Hunter Henry played a pivotal role in his team’s narrow win over the Cincinnati Bengals,scoring the offense’s only touchdown and finishing as the leading receiver with seven catches for 115 yards. His 13.1 yards per catch is his highest since his rookie year in 2016,and he has become a reliable target for quarterback Drake maye in the Patriots’ 10-2 start.
Defensively,Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett continued his relentless pursuit of the single-season sack record,adding three more sacks to his total,bringing him to 18 for the season.
