Nintendo Releases Update 1.2.0 for “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom”
Nintendo has recently released the much-anticipated version 1.2.0 of their popular game, “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.” This update aims to fix several bugs that have been affecting gameplay, including some previously copied methods of items. However, fans need not worry as overseas players have already discovered another method of item duplication.
According to the official Nintendo update announcement, version 1.2.0 mainly focuses on fixing bugs in various mission challenges. These include the main plot challenge, “Mystery of the Temple Sleeping Underground,” and “Secrets of the Ringka Ruins,” as well as the plot challenges, “Hartnow Village Research Institute” and “Votori Village Reconstruction Project.” Additionally, temple challenges like “Stain it black!” and mini-challenges such as “Village Attacked by Pirates,” “Unfinished Stables,” and “Find Pirate Base!” have also been addressed.
The update also addresses the issue of goblins not appearing in certain situations and the inability to change food provided by an NPC in Votori Village.
It is worth noting that even though the official announcement did not mention it, the previously popular “Infinite Frozen Meat Copying Method,” which had been circulating among players after the version 1.1.2 update, has been confirmed to be fixed in the latest version.
However, despite the fix, players have already found alternative ways to copy items. Overseas players have shared a new method that involves using a horse. The process is fairly complicated, with Link climbing up a high place and throwing a weapon while switching items. Link then falls from the edge of the high place, and the player can choose to hold five diamonds in the item bar before viewing any memory in the adventure log. After resuming the game, the copied items will fall to the ground, and Link will remount his horse.
In recent years, the Zelda player community has found joy in discovering convenient bugs. Prior to the installation of version 1.2.0, some players in Japan discovered a new way to charge in the air by taking out meat and tapping it a few times before using the Ultimate Hand to turn back time.
These methods of manipulating the game may not be expected by regular players, but they showcase the ingenuity and creativity of fans within the Kingdom of Hyrule. It seems that no matter how strong the enemies are, players like Calamity Link and Shaman can always find various magical methods to overcome challenges.
