No deaths due to covid in Saudi today, 177 new cases

Riyadh: One more day without a death due to covid to the relief of Saudi Arabia. No death was reported anywhere in the country during the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, 177 new cases were confirmed. 303 of those under treatment have recovered. The total number of cases reported in the country so far has reached 810,760. The total number of recoveries rose to 797,004.

The total death toll stands at 9,257. 4,499 patients are undergoing treatment. 112 of them are in critical condition. They are staying in intensive care units in hospitals in different parts of the country. 10,149 RT-PCR tests were performed in 24 hours. Riyadh 49, Jeddah 31, Dammam 15, Medina 9, Makkah 7, Twaif 6, Albaha 6, Jizan 4, Buraida 3, Abha 3, Najran 3, Khobar 3, Hufoof 3, Baljuraish 3, Tabuk 2, Hail 2, Khamis Mushait 2, Dhahran 2 and Hafar 2 new cases of covid were reported in different parts of the country.

Riyadh: 19th century artifacts found in Saudi Arabia. The artifacts were found on Farazan Island in the Red Sea near the southwestern coastal city of Jizan. The discovery was made during research and excavation work by a Saudi-French scientific team. A collection of objects were found which reveal the architectural styles of the period dating back to the 2nd and 3rd centuries AD.

Among the finds were a Roman inscription of a prominent historian of the Eastern Roman Empire and the head of a small stone statue.
