Thiruvananthapuram: Former DGP R Srilekha questioned the findings of the police in the actress attack case. The police came up with a new case because they did not get any evidence against Dileep. R Srilekha said that Pulsar Suni had misbehaved with many actresses before and it was not Pulsar Suni who sent the letter to Dileep from jail but a fellow inmate. Srilekha revealed these things through her YouTube channel.
Pulsar Suni was in police custody for two weeks when he was arrested. Srilekha asked why the police could not find out that this was a citation despite being interrogated for so many days. She said that if it is a citation, normally an accused should confess to the police.
I still doubt whether Pulsar Suni and others are quotation gangs. Srilekha said that all their previous activities were to make money for themselves and extort money by threatening people. After the first chargesheet was filed in the case, things including the letter that was sent by Pulsar Suni came to light. Srilekha says that there is a conspiracy behind this too.
Srilekha, who was a senior DGP of the state police, came out against the findings of the police while the investigation in the case of assault on the actress was reaching its final stage. Srilekha was the head of the jail when the actress was assaulted. Earlier, Srilekha had made some remarks at the stage of further investigation in the case against Dileep. But unlike that, there have been some criticisms that have made the police more defensive.
