Seoul: North Korea has test-fired another missile shortly after the US imposed sanctions. North Korea test-fired two short-range ballistic missiles yesterday, aiming east from the northern province of Pyongyang. The missile was reportedly fired into the sea outside Japan’s special economic zone. The South Korean Joint Chief of Staff has confirmed that a missile test has taken place.
The United States and Japan have come out against the North Korean government after two hypersonic missile tests in a week. The United States has imposed sanctions on six Korean nationals. Within hours, North Korea was criticizing the U.S. move and conducting a missile test.
