Norwegian biathlete Royseland won the sprint at the World Cup in Oberhof

Norway’s Marthe Reiseland won gold in the 7.5 km sprint at the fifth stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Oberhof, Germany. The athlete covered the distance in 23 minutes 30.1 seconds, having made one mistake on two firing lines.

The second place was taken by the Belarusian Anna Sola (+7.1 seconds, 2 penalties), the third – by the Frenchwoman Julia Simon (+7.1; 1). Kristina Reztsova became the best Russian woman (7th place, +26.6; 2).

Among men, earlier today the sprint was won by Russian biathlete Alexander Loginov.
