New Delhi: The number of Omicron cases in the country has risen to 781. Virus variants have been confirmed in 21 states. Delhi had the highest number of Omikron cases reported at 238. In Maharashtra, 167 cases of the virus have been confirmed.
Kovid confirmed a total of 9,195 people in the country in 24 hours. 44% increase over the previous day. On Tuesday, there were 6,358 Kovid cases. As the number of new cases reported increased, the government began to move to complete the vaccination expeditiously. So far, 143 crore vaccine doses have been vaccinated in the country.
Kovid cure rate is 98.40%. This is the highest rate since March 2020. In the last 24 hours, 7,347 people have been released from Kovid. So far a total of 3,42,51,292 people have been cured.
