Capital market stakeholders have paid tribute on the occasion of the 104th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day. Apart from this, the people associated with the capital market celebrated the day with due dignity, including prayer meetings, discussion meetings, various programs.
On Monday (March 17), capital market-related institutions laid wreaths and paid tribute to Bangabandhu’s portrait at Dhanmondi-32 in the capital.
At that time, representatives of capital market regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM) were present.
Apart from this, the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh (ICB) and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) organized a discussion meeting and a prayer meeting.
On this day at 12:30 pm, Chairman of Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), the capital market regulatory body, Professor Dr. Bangabandhu’s portrait at Dhanmondi-32. The Shibli Rubaiyat-ul-Islam led the tributes by placing wreaths at Bangabandhu’s portrait. At this time BSEC Commissioner Prof. Dr. Sheikh Shamsuddin Ahmed, Professor Dr. Mizanur Rahman, Abdul Halim, Dr. Rumana Islam and other senior officials were present.
Meanwhile, around 12 o’clock DSE chairman Professor Dr. The board of directors and management authorities under the leadership of Hafiz Muhammad Hasan Babu placed wreaths on the portrait of Bangabandhu. Mohammad Tarek led by Director (Administration and Finance) Najmuch Salehin, Deputy Director Md. The employees of the institute including Sirajul Islam paid tribute to Bangabandhu’s portrait.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of the day, National Flag Hoisting, Bunch Balloon Flying and Doa Mahfil program were organized at ICB Head Office. Chairman of the ICB Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Suvarna Barua, Managing Director. Abul Hossain, Chief Executive Officers of 3 subsidiary companies of ICB and various levels of employees were present.
The birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was celebrated with due dignity and respect under the initiative of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB). On this occasion, ICSB members and their families attended the event and paid tribute to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Later a discussion meeting and doa mahfil was organized by ICSB’s Dhaka Regional Chapter (DRC) sub-committee.
Apart from this, capital market related organizations DBA and BMBA and Bangladesh Capital Market Investors Unity Parishad celebrated the 104th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due respect and dignity.
