Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said today that Israel will pay “the price” for the “genocide” it is committing against the Palestinian people, a year after Hamas’ deadly October 7 attacks on Israel and Israel’s military response against him.
“One day sooner or later Israel will pay the price of the genocide it has been carrying out for a year and is continuing,” the Turkish president wrote in a message to X.
“Here and exactly 365 days, 50,000 of our brothers and sisters, most of them children and women, were brutally murdered,” continued the Turkish head of state, who for a year has been one of the most critical of Israel.
“Just as the alliance of humanity stopped Hitler, (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu and his network of murders will be stopped in the same way,” says Erdogan, who considers Hamas a “resistance organization.”
According to the Turkish president, “humanity as a whole was murdered right before the eyes of the world for a year.”
