As you remember, Arthur came to the Italian team two years ago in a surprising move by Barcelona where Miralem Pjanic did the opposite way. In two years at the club, he was unable to take a place as a key player and in both seasons made 42 appearances in Serie A, in which he scored one goal and did not score at all. Now he arrives at Liverpool, whose midfield is known to be a weak spot at the moment and he will hope to take a more central place than the one he occupied at the Old Lady.
He started his professional career with Gremio from the Brazilian league, and in the summer of 2018 he moved to Spain. In Barcelona he made 71 appearances in all formats, scored four goals and assisted six. He was a partner in winning the championship and the Spanish Super Cup. He also took part in winning the Copa America with the Brazilian national team, in which he made 22 appearances.
